The Financial District Center is on the 10th and 11th floors of a 24-story building in San Francisco's financial district. It's a Class-A building with a polished marble lobby and unique mansard roof that distinguishes it on the skyline. The center offers great views and is close to the world-renowned Transamerica Pyramid, the tallest and most recognizable skyscraper in the city. The center is surrounded by financial institutions and banks, professional services businesses such as law firms, and countless shops, restaurants and hotels. Banking is the largest private-sector city employer, but around 80 per cent of businesses are small and the city is still a beacon for entrepreneurs. However, tourism is the 21st century backbone of the economy with millions of visitors injecting billion of dollars. This center is not far from some of the major destinations, and has good Peninsular transport links and connections with the rest of the Bay Area.
