Abundant parking at John Hancock Center and in the neighborhood, close proximity to Lake Shore Drive and convenient feeder ramps to the Kennedy and Dan Ryan expressways make for excellent vehicular access. The Dan Ryan, Eisenhower and Stevenson expressways are accessible via southbound Lake Shore Drive.

The State Street/Chicago Avenue station is within easy walking distance of John Hancock Center. Additional subway lines can be accessed within five minutes on a southbound train to the Lake and State/Wabash stations.
CTA Bus Routes
From the city's North Side, a variety of local (#151 and #157) and express routes (#145, #146, and #147) stop within a block of John Hancock Center.
Commuters arriving from the south can reach John Hancock Center by transferring on State Street to bus #145, #146, #147, #151 and #157.
Metra Trains and Shuttles
Metra rail commuters arriving at Ogilvie Transportation Center and Chicago Union Station are served by the CTA #125 Water Tower Express Shuttle. Estimated travel time: 15-20 minutes
Northwestern (Union Pacific) trains are served in the morning by the CTA #33 bus, a direct shuttle from the Clybourn station (Armitage/Ashland) nonstop to Delaware Place and Michigan Avenue. Estimated travel time: 15-20 minutes
