About this center
Washington Square Center is located in the heart of the Central Business District just three blocks away from the White House and the World Bank. The building has a stunning entrance with a two-level atrium, and there is an on-site fitness centre which is free of charge to all tenants. Government and lobbying organisations make up a big number of jobs in the capitol but the five top non-government-related employers are Georgetown University, George Washington University, Washington Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center and Howard University. The international Monetary Fund and 174 foreign embassies are based in the capitol. It is also home to the Organization of American States, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Pan American Health Organization. The center is also seven miles from Verizon Center, home of the NBA’s Washington Wizards basketball team and the NHL Washington Capitals, hockey team.

By Road:
From the North
Take I-95 South and turn left onto I-495 South/West. Continue on until it becomes I-95 South again. Continue on to I-895 South. Bear left onto US-1 South/West. Continue onto US 29 South. Follow US 29 South as it turns right. Turn right onto K Street. Bear right onto Connecticut Avenue. The Washington Square Building is on the corner of Connecticut and L Street.
From the South
Take I-95 North to I-395 East. Continue onto US-1 North. From there you will continue onto 14th Street. Bear left onto Pennsylvania Ave. Turn right onto 17th Street. Bear right onto Connecticut Ave. The Washington Square Building is on the corner of Connecticut and L Street.
From Washington Dulles Airport
Exit Airport onto HWY 267 West. Bear right onto ramp to Wiehle Rd./HWY 288. Turn left onto Wiehle Ave./HWY 288. Turn left onto HWY 267 East. Continue onto I-66 East/Custis Memorial Parkway. Continue onto US 50 East. Turn Left onto 17th Street. Bear right onto Connecticut Ave. The Washington Square Building is on the corner of Connecticut and L Street.
From Ronald Reagan National Airport
Exit Airport on ramp towards Washington I-395. Merge onto George Washington Parkway North. Take the I-395 North exit towards Washington. Merge onto I-395 North. Take the US-1 North exit on the left. Merge onto US-1 North. US-1 North becomes 14th Street. Stay straight to go onto 14th Street. Turn left onto K Street / US-29 and then turn right onto K Street. Turn right onto Connecticut Ave. The Washington Square Building is on the corner of Connecticut and L Street.
By Public Transportation
The Washington Square Building is Directly Above Farragut North on the Red line. Take the middle set of Escalators up from the platform.
The Building is also a 7 minute taxi from Union Station.
