About this center
The Evening Star Building is a trophy-class building, listed in the National Register as a Historic Landmark. It has an equally distinguished address on famous Pennsylvania Avenue and is less than 2,500 feet from the White House. Located in the city’s premier business district, the building is surrounded by government agencies, major law firms and special interest and lobbying groups. The center occupies the fifth, sixth and seventh floors of the 13-story historical building and some of the offices offer views of the Capitol and Washington Monument. The World Bank is close by and Washington is also home to the International Monetary Fund, Organization of American States, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Pan American Health Organization. By Road:
From the North:
- Take I-270 South to I-495 East then take the MD 185/ Connecticut Avenue exit, keeping right at the fork.
- Take Connecticut Avenue off the next roundabout.
- Turn left on K Street then right on 11th Street.
- The building is on the left, on the corner of 11th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
From the South:
Take I-95 North to I-395 North.
- Exit at 14th Street.
- Turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue.
- The building is on the left, on the corner of 11th and Pennsylvania Avenue.
By Air:
From Ronald Reagan National Airport:
- Exit the airport on George Washington Parkway North.
- Exit at 14th Street and follow above direction for travel from the South.
From Washington Dulles International Airport:
- Exit the airport on VA-267 and I-66 East.
- Take the E Street exit on the left toward I-66 East and keep right at the fork.
- Take the E Street Expressway and merge onto E Street.
- E Street becomes Pennsylvania Avenue.
- The building is on the left, on the corner of 11th and Pennsylvania.
By Public Transport:
- The Federal Triangle Metro station is 1/2 block away on 12th Street
