About this center
Amsterdam Arena is in the starkly-modern, white Africa Building in the Atlas complex, a business park in the heart of south east Amsterdam’s commercial district. This is an area where a number of large international financial services businesses are located, attracted by excellent local IT infrastructure, and by good access to the whole of the city and to the rest of the Netherlands, via the local transport and motorway networks. The building overlooks the Arena, home of AFC Ajax, which is used for football games and a range of high profile sporting and cultural events. A variety of hospitality and other businesses servicing these sporting and leisure sectors are based locally. Also on hand is the Bijlmerpark and theatre, which also play host to large cultural events.

By Road:
FROM HIGHWAY AMSTERDAM(A2)
- From Amsterdam take the A10 Ring Road Oost (East) and the junction A2 Utrecht
- Take the first exit-Ouderkerk aan de Amstel/Transferium
- Follow the signs Transferium/Arena. Turn left at the traffic signs, so you go over the highway
- Turn right at the junction in front of the Arena (It says Duivendrecht and AMC) and left at the next T-junction
- The Atlas complex is the group of white buildings on your right
- Turn right at the traffic lights and then the first left for the main entrance
- The Africa building is the second building on the left.
FROM HIGHWAY UTRECHT (A2)
- Go onto the A9 Almere / Amersfoort / AMC
- Take the exit 3 Amsterdam ZO / AMC (s111)
- At the end of this road turn to the right underneath the motorway to go onto the Muntbergweg
- At the first traffic lights go straight ahead. Follow this road to the right, until you come onto the Laarder Hoogteweg
- Follow this road to the left till the Hondsrugweg
- After you passed two junctions, you'll see a white building on your right hand side. Turn right, the second building on your left hand side is The Africa Building.
FROM HIGHWAY HAQUE/HARLEEM/AMSTELVEEN (A9)
- Go onto the A9/A2 Amsterdam / Amersfoort
- As soon as you get to the A2 (Holendrecht), take the exit 3 Amsterdam ZO / AMC (s111)
- At the end of this road turn to the right underneath the motorway to go onto the Muntbergweg
- At the first traffic lights go straight ahead
- Follow this road to the right, until you come onto the Laarder Hoogteweg
- Follow this road to the left till the Hondsrugweg
- After you passed two junctions, you'll see a white building on your right
- You turn right, the second building on the left is The Africa Building.
By Air:
FROM SCHIPHOL AIRPORT
- Take bus 174, which stops in front of the Atlas complex.
- The Africa building is the first building on your right (takes 40 minutes).
- Take the train to station Duivendrecht and after the metro to Amsterdam-Bijlmer.
- From there it is 5 minutes walking. You leave the station in the direction of the Amsterdam Arena.
- On you left side you see the Atlas Complex.
By Public Transport:
FROM CENTRAL STATION AMSTERDAM
- You can take the train or metro 54 direction Amsterdam-Bijlmer.
