About this center
The Fort Dunlop business centre is located in one of the Midlands’ most historic industrial buildings. The former tyre factory and head office of Dunlop Rubber, which employed 10,000 people in its heyday, had lain derelict for 20 years and been used as an advertising hoarding. Now this iconic building has been reinvented and is once again a prestigious Birmingham landmark combining office and retail space with an adjoining hotel. All the best old bits of the building have been kept. Stunning new additions include an atrium bringing natural light to the centre of the building, one of Europe’s largest living green roofs and an illuminated skyline ‘Fort Dunlop’ sign. Fort Dunlop is now home to over 65 tenants, some of whom are headquartered here, ranging from newspaper publishers and IT infrastructure providers to structural engineers, building contractors, quantity surveyors, accountants, insurance companies, design consultants and PR firms.

By Road:

From M6 South;
Exit at Junction 5. At the next roundabout take the 3rd Exit A452. At the next roundabout , take the A47 onto the Fort Parkway to Fort Dunlop.
From M6 North / Central Birmingham:
Exit at Junction 6. Take the 4th Exit at the roundabout onto the A51277, direction City Centre. At the next lights, turn left following the signs to Nechells.
Straight over the first roundabout, then at the second roundabout turn left onto the A47 Fort Parkway to Fort Dunlop.
By Air:
Birmingham Internation Airport is only 3 miles from this centre by taxi cab.
By Public Transport:
There is a shuttle bus that runs from Birmingham city centre to Fort Dunlop.
Stechford train station is just over a mile from the centre and Birmingham New Street train station is a 20 minute taxi ride.
