About this center
The rue d'Amsterdam Centre is in the heart of Paris, in the business/leisure district close to many major tourist attractions, including Galeries Lafayette, Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge. It shares the street with companies ranging from law firms and IT consultants to financial service providers and trainers. The centre is in the 8th arrondissement (district) of Paris, which is a hub of commerce and home to many French company headquarters such as global insurance group AXA, EDF (Électricité de France), the world's biggest utility firm, and multinational energy company GDF Suez. The area around the Gare St Lazare, at the southern end of the street, is popular with professionals and there are plenty of shops in this quarter of the 8th arr. The Liege Paris metro is midway along the street with the Place de Clichy at the northern end.
