About this center
The Munich Maximilianstrasse Centre is located on one of Munich’s four ‘royal’ avenues constructed in the mid-19th century, in an important financial district. The street and the architectural style of the buildings on it are named after King Maximilian II, who combined English Gothic and Italian design. The centre is close to many important government buildings, including the palatial Maximilaneum on the banks of the River Isar, where the Bavarian state parliament sits, and the main post office. The affluent Maximilianstrasse is known for its exclusive shops and restaurants and is in Munich’s cultural quarter, near to the theatre, opera and some of the city’s best hotels. There are excellent road and public transport connections, and the building offers secure underground parking.

FROM NÜRNBERG (A9)
- Mittlerer Ring East, through 2 underpasses, right turn into Ifflandstraße
- Straight ahead to Maximilianstraße, and now right hand side.
FROM SALZBURG (A8)
- Motorway junction Brunnthal, direction Salzburg, Ramersdorf, straight ahead to the City Center (Rosenheimerstraße) till Altstadtring.
- Turn right into Maximilianstraße at Isartorplatz.
FROM GARMISCH (A95)
- A95 straight ahead until Mittlerer Ring west
- Turn right at Landsberger Straße to the City Center till you reach Sonnestraße (Karlsplatz).
- Turn left and straight ahead to Maximilianstraße.
