About this center
The Rio de Janeiro Barra da Tijuca Centre is in an affluent neighbourhood south west of the city which hosted the 1992 United Nations Earth Summit and will be the venue for many 2016 Olympic Games events, including at the massive Riocentro convention centre. The area is a mix of residential and business buildings, including ‘eco condominiums’ with environmental features. Brazil’s main TV studios are here, and several university campuses. The Rio de Janeiro Barra da Tijuca Center is on the third floor of a striking glass and metal building.The center features hi-tech security systems including access control and fire detection, as well as CCTV and covered parking. There are expressways and bus routes connecting Barra de Tijuca to the international airport and downtown Rio de Janeiro.

By Road:
Leaving from the south
- Follow through the margin till Niemeyer Avenue;
- Go to the road Lagoa Barra;
- Pass through São Conrado district in direction to Elevado do Joá;
- Follow through Armando Lombardi until Américas Avenue;
- After Barra Shopping mall, turn to the right and keep on going through Ayrton Senna Avenue;
- Turn into the first to the right.
Leaving from the North or the Center
- Yellow Line in direction to Barra da Tijuca until Ayrton Senna Avenue;
- Follow through Ayrton Senna Avenue till the last return where you will find a signage from Lourenço Jorge Hospital;
- Go ahead on Luiz Carlos Prestes Avenue.
By Air:
Leaving from the Tom Jobim Airport (Galeão)
- Red Line in direction to Yellow Line (North or the Center);
- Yellow Line in direction to Barra da Tijuca until Ayrton Senna Avenue;
- Follow through Ayrton Senna Avenue till the last return where you will find a signage from Lourenço Jorge Hospital;
- Go ahead on Luiz Carlos Prestes Avenue.
