Protecting Your Privacy On ‘Today’

CNBC contributor Carol Roth was on the Today Show this morning, discussing tips to protect your privacy with Al Roker and Carson Daly.

Set in NBC's own coffee shop, Carol offered tips on better ways to do business and protect your confidential information, including using your nearest business lounge to hold a meeting or have that next big conference call.

Another simple solution, use a privacy screen for your smartphone or laptop, this way nobody can look over your shoulder.

Looks like Al likes what she had to say!

Earn Free Prizes For Being Social

We are very excited to introduce a new social media-driven loyalty program, which allows people to easily convert their social media activity into rewards that will help professionals grow their business and boost their productivity.

Using social channels, participants who tweet @RegusUSA, post on Facebook, check-in on Foursquare or share videos on YouTube will accrue points.  The loyalty program is open to anyone and the more points earned equals more rewards for participants. Points can be cashed in for complimentary Regus products and services such as meeting rooms, day offices and administrative support that businesses can use to be more productive each day.

There will also be special sweepstakes and grand prizes, including tickets to the Final Four for Tweeting how people work and stay productive during March Madness, one of the most distracting times of the year, using #workyourway.

“People today are passionate and excited about how, where and when they work,” said Rebecca Tann, Vice President of Marketing at Regus.  “We’ve learned that nobody tells the Regus story better than those who use us and this program rewards them for sharing their experiences.  As a b2b brand we are always looking for a new way to engage with existing and potential clients and we’ve found social media is a great way to do that.”

In partnership with Lodestone Social Media, Regus’ b2b engagement program is transforming how the company interacts with its customer base, which runs the gamut from start-ups to Fortune 500s.

“We are very excited to launch this program with Regus,” says Mark Drosos, President of Lodestone Social Media.  “We work with many of the top sports teams, universities and consumer brands, it’s very exciting to see a fast growing company like Regus, with such a large reach, embrace the power of social media and offer rewards that business can use daily.

Regus operates 1,500 fully equipped business centers around the world.  The company provides entrepreneurs, small- to medium-sized businesses as well as international companies a range of efficient work solutions, including fully equipped offices and virtual offices as well as meeting rooms and membership to its drop-in business lounges.  Terms are flexible allowing clients to choose the amount of space they use and the length of time they stay.
