CNBC contributor Carol Roth was on the Today Show this morning, discussing tips to protect your privacy with Al Roker and Carson Daly.

Set in NBC's own coffee shop, Carol offered tips on better ways to do business and protect your confidential information, including using your nearest business lounge to hold a meeting or have that next big conference call.

Another simple solution, use a privacy screen for your smartphone or laptop, this way nobody can look over your shoulder.
