Regus Offices and Meeting Rooms give New York nonprofit added credibility, plus space and flexibility to grow.

Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit financial grant organization and 2011 "CNN Hero" that helps couples and individuals with the costs of their adoptions by awarding financial grants of up to $15,000. Since its launch in 2007, Helpusadopt.org has awarded $495,000 in adoption grants and helped to build 65 families!

In response to their own adoption experience, Becky and Kipp Fawcett founded Helpusadopt.org to help couples and individuals overcome the financial hurdles they meet along the way to completing their own adoptions.

 

CHALLENGE

The Fawcetts are successful New York businesspeople, but they didn't have the budget necessary to sign a high-price lease for New York City office space. Instead, they decided to launch their nonprofit organization inside their apartment. The couple quickly realized they were going to need more space and a more professional address in order to run Helpusadopt.org effectively.

 

SOLUTION

The professional office environment Regus provides is appealing to the Helpusadopt.org staff and helps position the organization for future growth. The nonprofit is in a prime location in Midtown Manhattan; it's near public transportation, so it's easy for visitors to find. And now the organization has a meeting room to use for board meetings, something they wouldn't have been able to do in their apartment.

The money Regus helps the Fawcetts save on rent enables them to help build their organization so they can continue to create more families through their generous adoption grants.
